Catchy. We had Dead Skunk on 45 when we were kids.
Take a whiff on me,
that ain't no rose.
Roll up your window
and hold your nose.
You don't have to look
and you don't have to see
'cause you can feel it in
your olfactory.

Zac Brown Band opened for Kenny Chesney last summer and covered it live in their set. It was strangely good.
The is a Zac Brown Band cover of it out there. It's not Queen, but it's not terrible.
Good one. I was thinking Won't Get Fooled Again.Baba O’Riley
First Blood
Sympathy for the Devil
The Road Warrior
I always preferred Taboo 3, Breaking Training.“Taboo 2” with Kay Parker and Honey Wilder can’t be improved upon, imho.
I love a cover. Another one that surpasses the original: Bruce Springsteen covering Warren Zevon's My Ride's Here.I am not sure about songs. There are so many that are great and others do them and they are also great. Knocking on Heaven's Door by Dylan and GnR are both very good same could be said for Watchtower (Dylan/Hendrix). Sometimes a cover will surpass the original (I will always love you, Dolly vs Whitney). I just think there is always room in songs. Covers can bring you to a really good song.
Movies are constantly remade but there are many that shouldn't be. We have a new Naked Gun in theaters now. It is getting good reviews, but the original can't be beat. We have 4 versions of A Star is Born. They remade the Magnificent Seven, Bad News Bears, the Longest Yard, Red Dawn, Total Recall, Roadhouse, Point Break, and of all things Ben Hur. So, in Hollywood nothing is sacred.
Ahem. Sydney Sweeney would be spectacular in that remake.“Taboo 2” with Kay Parker and Honey Wilder can’t be improved upon, imho.
Or Life of Brian.Monty python “the holy grail”

Bob Dylan's "knockin on Heavens Door" came on. After a few bars, this youngun says "Hey, whose the guy with the whiny voice singing the GunsN Roses song?"

The Righteous Brothers version was a cover version. There were at least ten recorded cover versions before they got around to it. My grandma had both the Harry Belafonte and Liberace versions of it from the 50s. While I’m a fan of Phil Spector’s production work, I think his production of the Righteous Brothers’ version over complicated a good vocal performa
The ten tenors do a great Bohemian RhapsodyZac Brown Band opened for Kenny Chesney last summer and covered it live in their set. It was strangely good.
