I thought I’d post something pointing out just how incredible our offense has been.
1- Kyler Murray sits at 853 yards....that is within 7 yards of jamelle holloway and Charles Thompson’s best years. With at least 2 games remaining he has a very good chance to go over 1000 rushing for the second time by a QB in OU history (Mildred was over 1000 in 1971)
2- Trey Sermon is also at 863 and Brooks is at 993. We have a legit chance to have 3 1000 yard rushers. That would be a first in Sooner Football history.
3- Kyler has thrown for 3674 yards and should finish at over 4000. He is on pace to be the second QB in NCAA history to throw for 4000 and rush for 1000. (DeShawn Watson)
4- CeeDee lamb is at 882 receiving yards. Brown is at 1200 plus. We have a great chance for 2-1000 yard receivers.....first time in OU history.
5- we are 11-1 and have a chance to win our 4th straight Big 12 title. No team has won a power 5 conference 4 years straight since Florida in the 90s.
6- our offensive line unit has a great chance to win the Joe Moore award as the best unit in the country.
7- Bedenbaugh has a good chance to win the Broyles.
It has been an amazing season.....and a whole lot of you have wasted the whole thing bitching about the defense. Sad I think. This is not me defending the defense. Just saying you can choose what to focus on. There is an awful lot to be positive about. Why not focus there? You can’t doanything about the D anyway. Bitching that it would all be better if someone would have been fired sooner serves what purpose? Just some thoughts to chew on.
