I have been hearing about this kid since he started high school. According to sports bar experts (after 4 cold ones), Rattler has been a virtual lock for OU since he attracted national attention. U of A & ASU came knocking. USC can be expected to try a flip him between now and signing day. I was told that there are about 8 players from Pinnacle HD getting D1 attention.

At least so far it's been quite the indictment on the energy spent on recruiting prior to the Riley era.
And yes this class needs some elite defense. It's looking like Riley can attract bigtime offensive talent. Now let's hope the same bears true for the defensive kids.
I have been watching a few of last year's games and one common theme in the earlier part of the season was how bad our D looked. The Texas games was glaring in how unorganized our D was. The TTech game was not worth a comment. Let's hope LR has some D recruiting tactics in his basket of wisdom. I wonder what the future holds for Mike S. at OU?
It wasn't the fellas on the field. The talent was there to not look like a sieve that was pretending to be a tampon. It was assignment/execution. Mike trying to out coach them other sum bitches with to many calls and too many audibles. Sometimes the best thing to do is just line em up and hit a guy in the ear hole, come back.
