Averaged 17.5 ppg / 4 assists for Santa Clara. Broke his thumb and rather than coming back, is transferring - his name is in the Portal. Odd final 4, will be tough to beat out Oregon.

not huge and not a major athlete but looks like he can fill it up off the dribble which is rare for us. Looks like a similar find to Ryan Taylor but maybe with a little more play-making ability but not quite as long.

The defense in many of his highlights left me scratching my head. Still, the experience would really help next season. Looks like a "take" to me. Hopefully he also passes the ball and plays defense once in a while.

Agreed. NU doesn't need KJ to play 30+ minutes a game. Collins need an experienced guy who can start games, run the offense, create off the dribble, play 18-22 minutes and let Greer/Buie continue to ease into the college game.

I think Greer is going to be a solid Big Ten player as an upperclassman, but he could probably use another year as a backup getting 15 minutes a game first. Of course, if he exceeds expectations and takes the starting job over, all the better.

Also...there is no reason NU shouldn't be able to get its pick of grad transfer PGs. Literally the No. 1 narrative of this season for the Cats is the fact that they have no PG, so playing time is there for the taking. Combine that with the opportunity to play in one of the two best conferences in the nation, NU's decent success in placing graduates in the professional ranks overseas, and a top-tier grad degree...hard to see the appeal of elsewhere, in my biased opinion.
