I just discovered these a few weeks ago and I love beer and I love sour, so match made my friends. The more sour the better.

I've seen quite a few out in the pubs around Lexington and at some breweries but it's been tough finding some to take home.

Liquor Barn doesn't have very many and I've tried most of what they have. New Belgium La Folie, Dogfish Head Peche, Tell Tale Tart, Damascene Apricot sour, and most recently Monk's Cafe Flemish Sour Ale.

My absolute favorite has to be Ei8htball Little Richard. That one absolutely slaps you in the mouth with sour, but I can't find it anywhere to buy in a bottle.

Any recommendations on sour beers and places that stock a variety?

Lagunitas Aunt Sally is fantastic. I'm pretty sure they distribute Lagunitas to Lexington.
Thanks! I've tried some of their other beers and enjoyed them. I don't think I saw that one but I'll double check next trip.

Rhinegeist Peach Dodo is pretty solid. West 6th had a wild raspberry sour on tap the last time I was there (about a month ago), and it was tremendous...

Does Almanac or Cascade distribute out to KY? They're two of the best in the US. I know Russian River isn't out there but their Consecration, Beatification, Supplication and Temptation offerings are just as sought after as The Younger.

There are a few from the Bruery worth grabbing, including but not limited to Sour in the Rye, Oude Tart, Tart of Darkness, and Rueuze.

The Duck Duck Gueuze and Veritas from Lost Abbey are hard to find but ridiculously good.

Best in the world IMO is Brasserie Cantillon. They can do no wrong.

Why does Lexington hate sours? C'mon people put down the light American lagers and get some real beers!

Bout bought that one yesterday, but WOB wanted $8 for a can of it. I passed on it because the guy said it was only 4.9%. Will try to find it at the liquor store
Bro, I believe, but am not certain, I sampled Anderson Valley Gose recently. Gotta check Untappd. At any rate, it was decent.

Just got some aunt Sally and it is super unique. I really enjoyed the first bottle. Hits sweet then tart then hoppy then grainy, it's like 4 beers in one sip. Also got some Rodenbach and a Petrus Pale Aged. I bought a St Louis Gueuze but left it on the damn counter while boxing up my wife's wine. Called the store but someone already snaked it, poo!

Don't think you can get it in KY, but if you ever get to a place that Westbrook distributes their Gose is really good. Wicked Weed out of Asheville has a large selection of sours if you find yourself somewhere they distribute.
