This looks like a string of Christmas lights flying around. It just flew over western Kentucky a little after 6:00 and will be here tomorrow around 5:20.

Elevation (from horizon): start: 10°, max: 77°, end: 26°

Lexington tonight... this isn't a NASA site so it's not as accurate as ISS site. You need to give it 10 minutes on each side.

I got to see this tonight and it was unreal. By far the coolest thing I've ever seen in the sky and I've seen a lot.

A lot of people on my facebook were saying they saw it during the Somerset Christmas parade and that people were freaking out. I could only imagine that scene.

Honestly I could see Billy Joe wildcat thinking it was an alien invasion.

It looks more like a space train.

I guarantee it. Take into consideration, Somerset is where people put lawn chairs alongside highway 27 in the summer just to watch loud cars drive back and forth. Nice town, growing town, but seems to be a lack of entertainment.

I’m going to keep that link. I watched the SpaceX launch stream earlier and the payload was 53 starlink satellites.

Seemed lower and bigger today than when I saw it back in December. It was very impressive this morning.
