Got a few shots of Pappys 12 y/o left. Then its 4 Roses. What say you?
I have a bottle of this and wow, I love it. I even like how the label pops on the shelf behind my bar.
Got some Willett, the Weller is on my "to get" list, never had it, but would love to.Weller 12 or Willett.
I was on a waiting list for almost a year for the Weller 12.Got some Willett, the Weller is on my "to get" list, never had it, but would love to.
Crap. I didn't want to know that. Ugh.I was on a waiting list for almost a year for the Weller 12.
I had two Makers last night. At half I started to slink upstairs for a 3rd but my wife (teetotaler religious gal) put a stop to my plan
Your state makes wonderful bourbon
That stuff has a little bite to it. Love it.I feel cheap for sipping on this Eagle Rare I was gifted. I wanted to get my stomach ready so I actually started about a half hour ago.
This. It's got to be from Kentucky to be real bourbon. The other stuff is whiskey, or whisky
I have plenty and could send you a few ounce samplers if interested.Crap. I didn't want to know that. Ugh.
Stagg is fabulous bourbon.
I'll find some, but if I don't I'll hitchya up.I have plenty and could send you a few ounce samplers if interested.
I've never bothered with a non-Kentucky bourbon. I'll be Buffalo Trace-ing it tonight. I have a bottle of Talisker Distillers Edition scotch someone gifted me I'm saving for the Final Four.This.
I was gifted some 2 year crap from Indiana for Christmas, I couldn't get it down, it was awful.
Got some Willett, the Weller is on my "to get" list, never had it, but would love to.
Johnny Drum is a Willett bottling, so you can't go wrong there (except pot still is pretty bleh...).Honestly, I'm not a bourbon expert by any means but I have been getting different bottles for a little bit under the $60 range and weller just isn't one of my favorites. Everybody talks about it like it's great but I think it's simply because of the pappy relationship. I have four roses single barrel (can be found anywhere) and actually like it better. Of course they're different bourbons though.
I also had johnny drum and actually like it a lot. It's sweeter than most bourbons which I like, but some people don't like it because of that. Anyway, hope you find some weller but don't have your expectations set so high that you'll be disappointed. It's good, but the hype is just over the top to me.
