Spencer is calling the Texas\Iowa State game. Just seconds before half time he said one of the stupidest things I've ever heard an announcer say. The exchange was about Jay Norvell and his play call duties for Texas.

Tillman said " I really think Norvell should have been calling plays at OU the past two years". This was when Texas has scored zero points against Iowa State. He has channeled John Blake with his juggling of the Texas Q-B's the first half.

Stupid..........

OU's team must have had the bowel troubles when they played Texas. No other explanation.

Yeah you beat me to it as I took a supper break about then but I was thinking along those same lines.

Spence you're still my original Superman but sometimes its better to just cut to commercial...

Watching Iowa State, that's how you beat Texas, gosh makes me sick we lost.

I don't really see a problem with the comment by Spencer. Norvell is trying to make lemonade with dried dog poop down in Austin. Can't be too critical of what he's doing this season.

BC, his comment had nothing to do about Texas.Iit was a cut to Josh Heupel and Bob. BTW, Josh's Utah State offense lite it up last night.

I guess I'd have had to heard it in the context of the conversation. I just hold a "what if" in my mind about Norvell never getting a shot to call the plays in Norman.

FYI, the Longhorns are bout to get shutout by power house Iowa State 24-0.

Ya Norvell really is in a no-win situation down there. But let's hope he is a better play caller than he was a WR coach.

I will keep what we have right now, for as long as we can…

LR really knows what he is doing and will be regarded among the very best OC’s OU has ever had in due time if he stays awhile.
With some seasoning LR could someday be Stoops replacement at OU?
