We're down to the final day folks! Call your Senator, yell at them politely to do their job. Let's get this passed! I want to be able to waste my life savings betting the under on how many games the Reds will lose without having to worry about the government interfering in that.

Nice. Can’t wait to bet on CFB and NFL games. Driving two hours to Indiana or Tennessee (I’m in the middle of the state) to bet on ball games seemed a little excessive. Now, we don’t have to.

Can we get table games legalized now so we can have real casinos?
You also need to change the KY constitution to allow for Class III slot machines instead of these Historical Horse Racing Class II machines they have in Kentucky. I'd rather have my fate decided by a random number generator in the machine than a random horse racing result in a server somewhere.

Stupid question I am sure, but I know nothing about this stuff.

At what point could we bet on apps? I don’t even know what the gambling apps/websites are but I know they exist (rephrase: I think I know).

In Indiana I can use DraftKings, Caesar’s, and Fan Duel. There is also an off track betting place just around the block that has a sports book

I didn't realize so many of you suckers were wanting to give your money away or I would have set up a go fund me. We could have easily raised the money to buy out Cal.

I feel your excitement for sports betting and the thrill of the final day. It's always great when we have the freedom to enjoy our favorite pastime without unnecessary government interference.

Anyone hear that caller on ksr today talking about how 5 out of 8 books have him blocked b/c he gets better odds than Vegas wants him too - he was kind of incoherent explaining it.

Gambling is a sin. It's in the Bible. "Let he who is without sin roll the first bones."
First of all, it is not for the government to prevent people from sinning.
Secondly, gluttony is a sin. Lust is a sin, not just acting on it, but even just looking at another woman (than your wife) lustfully. Wanting that sports car or house your neighbor has.

So just like religion does/should not want the government interfering in how they act (as long as not hurting anyone), religion should not determine our laws either (and yes, I am a Christian).

It's about time we have the freedom to make our own choices, including how we bet on sports. Wouldn't it be awesome to put some stakes on those Reds games without the government breathing down our necks? Speaking of which, I'm fairly new here too, and I must say, it's a fantastic community! People are super chill and helpful. I'm really looking forward to participating in some lively discussions and sharing our passion for sports betting.
