So there won't be a real spring game? Just designated practices open to the public where the fans can drop by and check things out? If so, will we find out which practices we can attend and the times? .

They'll publicize the open practices as it gets closer.

I don't recall a "real spring game" for a long time. Usually just a bunch of controlled situation plays with some fans trying to catch a pass or punt, mixed into the event.

They call it a spring game and it's been pretty well attended and a good event the last couple of years. An organized and entertaining way to get to know the team and some of the coaches. Very family friendly.

I'll be pretty disappointed if we don't get something similar. With a new staff it's more important, IMO.

I guess I'm the only one who likes the actual spring games better. The picnic thing was quaint and quirky, but I'm a fan of football not drills.
