Travis Fisher said that Breon Dixon is playing linebacker. “He moves like a DB, but he’s a linebacker.” #Huskers

Mike Dawson said Nebraska's current DL depth is the best he's had at any of his stops.

Not sure if just a spring quote or not, but there's a lot of bodies there and he's excited to make them fight it out at practice to determine playing time.

"Everything counts."

Building trust with the team has been one of the top priorities of Coach Frost’s staff since arriving.

“I think you need to get to know these kids as people before we start going too hard on them for errors and all of that kind of thing

The team has enough talent at all of the positions to be good but this year they really will only be as good (or as bad) as the QBs are able to pick up the new offense and, most important, make the right calls on the field FAST. That's going to be the limiting factor this year.

Yeah thanks Tyjon. I hope there aren’t too many others that have to “commit” to the team they are already a part of on twitter like they are recruits. JFC.
Typically, I appreciate your posts. But I’m struggling a little with this one... this stuff happens all the time with coaching changes. Why should we be exempt?

Obviously qb is always key but until interior linemen stop being on the receiving end of pancakes, we will be no better than mediocre. It has been the consistent weakness ever since Solich’s last couple years.

Not sure he was a kid who was thinking about leaving and posted about himself now being committed.

Personally, I’m not a fan of either kid promoting themselves to be honest, but they are different IMO.

You didn’t have all those caveats in your first 2 post. Just players already on the team, posting about themselves on social media. But continue with your feaux outrage.

Because it’s on social media, because it’s on March 31st, and because it’s self-aggrandizing.
I hear what you’re saying, but he also was supposedly on the fence about this coaching staff. At least this way we can see he is committed.

I agree, social media, self promotion, etc... but in this instance he at least is showing he isn’t on the fence any longer.

Allegedly.

Social media to these young guys today are as natural to them as water and air. Love it or hate it, we had better get adjusted to it. It is just a fact. I don't draw any conclusions about a young player's character based on the fact that they post stuff about themselves on social media. It is a non issue.

You speak the truth sir.

We've got a long, long ways to go with our Oline. Without a dominate OLine we are indeed mediocre at best. Watching programs like Purdue, Iowa, etc push our linemen around has been humiliating.
