It’s raining, it’s nasty, it’s cold and February but Scott already has those boys back in gear and popping pads. Really like what he’s doing here but quickly putting our historically poor season behind us and getting back to work. I feel like we are building a blue collar, Workman like team and I’m hyped thinking about what the future holds.

We are going to be laughing at Brohm by November.

Don’t @ me.

Bros, I think we are getting a much different product this year.

Bobby gave us a lot of fun but think Scott, Gunter and the boys are building a team that’ll whip your ***, take a lunch break and do it again. I’m liking it, y’all

Bro, I think we get the Irish. They were horribly overrated last year and wouldn’t have been anywhere near that record if they were full ACC.

Fully believe that our newfound toughness and attitude gets us that week one win and that it won’t be an upset.

I'm just wanting to see attitude and desire.

IF we beat the spread, and are scrappy doing it, I'll be happy.

Needless to say, an upset would be absolutely fantastic. But I'm not getting worked up for one.

Love your optimism, but not sure how you can look at the state of these 2 programs right now and think that. Trust me, I will be there screaming my head off, but I just hope to see about 45 young men play hard and compete for 60 minutes!

Irish will smoke us, too much talent for us to deal with in our current state this soon, but I think we make a bowl this season.

I don’t think we are back yet but don’t think notre shame is anything close to what folks think they are. Likely not as good as UKaay even. Definitely not Clemson, NC State or anyone like that.

I think you might be on to something, but I believe that because it’s far from a rag tag bunch.

There is more talent on this team than when Charlie took over. Are there still holes, absolutely. I am still shocked how bad things got last year. All I can say is they flat quit and stopped listening after the FSU game.

All the spring and fall talk means nothing, the true indicator of player buy in will be in game 1. They are going to get punched in the face will they quit or keep fighting? I like the energy and believe this staff really get it so I believe they will keep fighting, but we won't know until that moment.

Haha I’m just hyped for this season. I think that petrino did exceptional recruiting some players and awful in others.

We have athletes but not much on the lines or defense. I’m banking on the renewed enthusiasm and better coaching to make a significant difference.

Agreed, y’all. Even Malik is an athlete of a different level than we are used to. It’s just fine tuning and getting them believing again.
