The fourth installment of our spring preview series is below. The focus: How can Kentucky find a pass rush?

Some of the numbers in the story are troubling, particularly those during Kentucky's five-game SEC losing streak in the mid-to-late part of the year. Given the personnel losses and the struggles last year, how young players on the front seven step up will have a lot to say about UK's chances at competing for a bowl game.

Pretty much nailed it JR. QB & DL play are the two biggest question marks for the 2016 team.

If the DL can't generate a rush with 4 I expect us to turn to our blitz package which was pretty good. With an improved secondary and LB corps I think we can get it done. It is key that these defensive players will not be expected to play 70 percent of the game and if the offense can control the ball and score some points our D rush may be considerably better.

Thanks JRowland. I am thinking that we will be pleasantly surprised with our defense this coming season. Hopefully Spring Practice will give us some better insights into what we can look forward to in the fall. Looking forward to your next article. Go Cats!!
