Anybody got it and how bad is reception. Need phones and they are throwing out some attractive offers on phones and plans. Currently with AT&T but they like most companies treat existing customers the worst

Wife and I got Sprint last year. It's not great, but it's not bad either. I get a modicum of better reception here in Ky, than I do at my place in Fl, which is admittedly, 20 minutes from a small town. Wife hates the new phones, though. She prefers rotary, on a party line. You know the type.

We've been with Sprint for 6 years here in Austin. Coverage is great in populated areas back in KY. I sometimes lose service on Nolin Lake and areas outside of Bowling Green (Brownsville, Mammoth Cave). Southeastern KY (Bell County) is fairly solid, but spotty in Harlan.

We pay $83 mo for 2 lines with unlimited data. Tethering is now included, but stinks when back in KY.

I have been on Sprint family plan with my small business for almost 15 years in SW Florida.

Reception is I think pretty decent. Not as good as Verizon but not as bad as others. No real issues there.

My main issue tho has been ongoing for months. Sprint says it’s Apples problem and vice versa. Sometimes When people call me it just rings once or twice then dead air. My phone still rings on my end but it causes major issues for me. People will try to call then hang up when this Happens and try to call again. It’s really weird. I’ve called and called and called. There’s other weird issues with connection times and such but people not being able to reach me is very disruptive as my main business is done thru my cell since I handle outside sales for my business.

I’ve been debating on switching to Verizon for the last few months but haven’t made the switch yet. I do believe this is a known Sprint issue from my research but evidently it is something that cannot be fixed. Has to do with how the phones connect thru and evidently there’s others out there also dealing with this. Didn’t intend to try and scare you away from sprint. Just my experience.

Had Sprint for about 18 years and finally switched last year. Service wasn't as good in certain parts of Louisville as I would have liked. Switched to TMobile and get much better service around here. They offered a discount for veterans as well. Got 4 lines for around $100. Only downside was I had to get 4 new phones.

They are supposed to eventually merge with Sprint (if it ever goes through), but they are using a different system than Sprint (GSM vs CDMA). So I don't see a benefit with staying with Sprint through the merger unless they offer a phone/s that can use both GSM and CDMA at the same time.

Sprint is horrible. Verizon and ATT are more expensive, but in the current cell phone market, you get what u pay for, literally.

We left ATT to go to Sprint, it was so bad, we went back to ATT begging them to take our money, lol.
