LOVE Thin Lizzy, one of the best. Saw them once in Cleveland stadium with Aerosmith, Ted Nugent, The Scorpions, Journey and AC/DC.
I am guessing the ticket price was probably less than $10.

Actually I don't know what the price of the ticket was. A buddy of mine organized a Blue Bird bus for transportation. I paid him $25 and that included the ride up and back (from Erie Pa) and all the beer you could drink. There was a keg tapped in the back of the bus. I would guess most of the 25 was for the bus so the ticket was probably less than 10. This was in the summer of 79 or 80.

IMHO one of the greatest 70’s rock bands of all time.

Definitely the most under-rated. Performance Rockin' the Fillmore is the most under-rated live album. Jerry Shirley most under-rated drummer.

Hookin' everyone up with an alternate take for some fun. They released all 4 shows from the recording of Performance in a little box set and it's great. But the Robert Ludwig-mastered OG vinyl is a STONE COLD classic.

I don't know what Peter Frampton was thinking but it's a real shame he left. He was part of the magic.

We’re at a lounge at Dulles waiting for our flight to Dublin; friends host a big St Patrick’s Day party in Galway so we’ll be there for a few days as well. My favorites….

And for fun:
