I am in Dublin right now. Watched St Patrick's Day parade on O'Connell St.
City streets around Temple Bar area were absolutely jam packed.

Oh and I had pizza here today. (had Cottage Pie in Killarney a couple nights ago-- great Irish dish)
Did you walk by the statue of Phil Lynott???

Anyone braise theirs in beer and or ginger beer? Thinking of a can or two of both. I bought one from the grocery store that was pre-brined/ ready to cook.
Yes, but not ginger beer. For braising, I would recommend a heavier beer...stout or Guiness (which isn't heavy). You're basically burning off the maltose in the beer.

Aren't you a little early for the 2026 Aer Lingus College Football Classic featuring the TCU Horned Frogs vs. the UNC Tar Heels?

Corned beef, potatoes & carrots. We didn’t do cabbage this year. Missed it. Some of the family ate some saurkraut with it.

I was going to include a can or two of beer in my slow cooker, it was a suggestion in the recipe. But I forgot. I blame it on the whole “being hungover and groggy” thing.

Spending the month in Savannah as a spring starter.
Combo White out and Mardi Gras
Very Chilly yesterday and a Tuesday so a little more reserved than a weekend event. Shocked at families camping out in the squares to get a prime seat. Definitely an experience I’ll never forget.
