I got an in depth tour of the south side construction today. We covered just about every inch of it. A couple of things...

The new video board is outrageous. They were doing some testing and had the Olympics on. I've never seen a screen that large with an actual high definition picture.

The new fan areas on the second and fourth levels are going to be a hit.

The suites are amazing. Imagine your own personal balcony with recliner stadium seating, 4 large TVs inside, and everything you need to party it up.

Two of the suites are "party suites." They can accommodate 50 people each. The have bifold glass doors that can remain closed or open the entire wall or anything in between. They are apparently sold by the game.

The loge box seating is brilliant. Each will have its own 2 TVs and will have the ability to order food from the kitchen to be delivered.

The space for the athletes and coaches facilities is enormous. It will dwarf what the had. I saw the infant stage of Bob Stoops office. It's good to be king.

Medic sounds nice! You must be a big wig within the program. Are you Kish?
Hahahaha! I'm like E.F. Hutton. When I talk people listen (you younger folks might need to Google that). If they would hire me to coach linebackers, OU would be the first team in the history of college football history to have every linebacker in the depth chart in the running for the Heisman Trophy.

I'm still contemplating on whether to go to the first home game. I definitely can't afford tickets to Ou/ Ohio State. That game is for you rich fellas

Of note, between 9/17 and 10/29 OU has only one home game (vs KSU on October 15th)....that's one home game over a 6 week period. That's a lot of time to get stadium construction done.
