Starters with Brooks...

Askew, Mintz, Allen, Brooks, Sarr. Hoping Clarke can earn a starting spot once healthy, and maybe move Mintz to bench.

I don't know about starting but I think from now on the most minutes will go to Sarr,Brooks,Mintz,Askew,Allen.Hopefully Clarke can be better once he returns.Jackson is important off the bench for his D.I think Boston will keep getting less and less time.Ware and Toppin have done well but will have to lose time because of Brooks.
Brooks starting??? The guy hasn't played in a year. He'll be lucky to see the court...
Cal should ease him back in. No way he should start and play 25+ minutes
Right now Mintz is playing better than Clarke.
It should be Askew, Mintz, Allen, Brooks, and Sarr, but Clarke and Boston will likely be in it for some reason
Yep, that would be my pick. Make Brooks earn it like Allen did...well actually no don’t be that hard on him.
Brooks averaged 4.5 points a game last year. What can expect out of him now?
Alright dipsh!t, the last time he played a game was March 7th, which was 10 months and 1 day ago. Sorry for rounding up, but the point remains. He has barely been mobile during most of that time as well. Zero chance he's in game shape anytime soon.
Brooks won’t be able to breath after first 5 mins yet.
Clarke still has a chance to be good this year. NEVER at the point.
I don’t give a damn who starts, as long as Allen gets 25+ minutes a game. He’s the ONLY consistent shooter we have.
Put five guys around him that are gonna play with a high motor and give it 100% every minute of the game. The guys that aren’t giving the effort, sit them. Simple.

Ware & Toppin will definitely lose minutes with Brooks being back but I think they will have opportunities in certain matchups especially Toppin
Let's say in a few games when Brooks is in game condition, these five seem to be the better shooters, scorers and most experienced. Just like in the last couple of games, who finishes the game is most important. But we definitely need to get the offense going to start the game. We found that out last year in getting I. Quickley to help get us scoring and not dig a hole to start a game.
I think once everyone is 100% healthy, Cal will start:
G Clarke
G Mintz
G Boston
F Brooks
F Sarr
But with the game on the line with under 4 minutes left, this is the lineup that should be out there, IMHO:
G Askew
G Mintz
G Allen
F Brooks
F Sarr
That’s the most experience at each position.
I would want to surround Sarr with shooters (Brooks is the best stretch 4 we have).
Also gives us decent ball handling and decision making.
