….Dusty May may have put together a dominating team. They’re steamrolling everyone.
This is true. Beat Wake Forest by 1 in overtime. Beat a mediocre TCU team by 4.They also barely beat a couple of teams.
Best team in the nation and he’s a great coach.….Dusty May may have put together a dominating team. They’re steamrolling everyone.
We’d prefer to be “pining” for UK’s coach, but he’s left a lot to be desired during non-cupcake games, so this is where we are at right now.The pining for other coaches lol ...
He is. I guess it took them a couple of games to get going, but, they’re rolling now.Best team in the nation and he’s a great coach.
Did they have 2 in a row to ranked teams?Gonzaga had one of those games folks around here think only happens to UK.
They might since they lost the first one last night. Any more questions?Did they have 2 in a row to ranked teams?
Actually they beat a ranked Bama by 10 right before that game....They might since they lost the first one last night. Any more questions?
So if they lose the next one that won't be losing 2 in a row? I just stated a fact that Gonzaga played a clunker of a game like almost all teams do on occasion. Did they not try against Michigan like they did against Alabama? Or maybe nobody is as good as they look in their best games or as bad as they look in their worst games...Actually they killed a ranked Bama right before that game....
I think the point was pretty obvious in that they actually beat someone with a pulse and UK has yet to do that. Disagree with that?So if they lose the next one that won't be losing 2 in a row? No, I don't. My point was that Michigan is not 40 points better than Gonzaga. Gonzaga played a bad game. It happens to all but the greatest teams and sometimes even then.I think the point was pretty obvious in that they actually beat someone with a pulse and UK has yet to do that. Disagree with that?
Best team in the nation and he’s a great coach.
Then you aren't really a fan of the program. Just a front runnerWe’d prefer to be “pining” for UK’s coach, but he’s left a lot to be desired during non-cupcake games, so this is where we are at right now.
I remember us doing it during the BCG years…The pining for other coaches lol ...
This board did it to Tubby, Rick and Cal tooI remember us doing it during the BCG years…
The only thing I can think of to explain the slow starts is poor game preparation. We’d prefer to be “pining” for UK’s coach, but he’s left a lot to be desired during non-cupcake games, so this is where we are at right now.
They look really good but they have also had a couple of subpar games to date. It's way to early to declare them as the team to beat for a natty. Its a long season and just entering December. Florida wasn't on anyone's radar for a natty this time last year. Not sold that Michigan has a championship backcourt.
They are put together a lot like the '15 UK team but inferior at all 5 positions.
Their makeup could be vulnerable to speed.
Iowa is McCollum’s dream school.Ben Mccollum is 7-0 at Iowa now. After winning 31 in his first year in D1 at Drake.
Though he is from Iowa and may never leave there.
The sky: why is it blue? They might since they lost the first one last night. Any more questions?
Iowa is McCollum’s dream school.
Yeah but a massive blue blood offer may change his mind.Iowa is McCollum’s dream school.

i domt get the infatuation with mccollum, id rather have devries, drew, and tang over himMcCollum
Oats
May
Lloyd
That should be the starting list if Pope can’t get the job done here.
Because McCollum has won everywhere he has been, much like IU’s football coach. He’s young and you can tell just watching them play he knows how to really coach.i domt get the infatuation with mccollum, id rather have devries, drew, and tang over him

yes but bruce pearl dominated in the sec, mcollum just got called upMcCollum was a prolific winner at the D2 level. 4 titles. probably wins a fifth if not for Covid as they were a heavy favorite when that happened. And were up 1 with 5 seconds left snd going to the line for a 1 and 1 in a true road game in the S16 against the eventual champion two seasons ago as well. bricked the front end and the other team took the rebound down the court in 5 seconds and Luke Maye’d them.
If you liked bruce pearl, he came from D2. McCollums D2 resume puts Pearls to shame.
And he’s only 44 i think
Pearl was very good in the SEC, but did not dominate in any way.yes but bruce pearl dominated in the sec, mcollum just got called up
Its a sad state. Im hoping most of these folks are trolls and not actually representative of our fanbase, because its a sad day if they are. Fans stick by their team through thick and thin, watch them develop and pull for the name of the front of the jersey. Half the people on here quit on the kids and want to fire the coach after a couple of early season losses...with star players injured. Really patheticGonzaga had one of those games folks around here think only happens to UK.
Extremely unlikely. He never left D2 until an Iowa job opened. He has been targeted at a lesser extent than Few.Yeah but a massive blue blood offer may change his mind.
