No real alumni support, nor fan base! With NIL money , programs like NU and Stanford will be bottom feeders for sure! Players want the NIL money and want the bigger crowds! NU is loaded with their endowment so their long term future is not really threatened!
At the end of the day, if Fitz can go 4-8 for the next five years he keeps working at NU!

Since you mentioned Stanford...be sure to check out the highlights of their freak loss to Oregon State tonight. Beavers kept going for two (and missing) due to an injured long snapper, and then nailed a TD in the final seconds of the game to go ahead for the win. Part of me wonders if Fitz and Shaw have any sort of secret communication between them, since misery definitely loves company.
