Not exactly...was told that Jurich allowed Krags to fire Brohm. It was supposed to make Brohm be the scapegoat. Thus some of the tension between TJ and the Brohm’s.
This is true and the simple facts. Of course, hindsight is always 20/20 and in retrospect the firing of Jeff was a mistake by both CSK and Tom Jurich. But I’ll take this a step further in that I don’t think Charlie Strong would have kept Jeff here under his regime as CCS wanted his defense to be upfront and in charge in his system. Offense was just a way to “rest” his defense and to keep the defense off the field and I don’t think Jeff Brohm is “cut that way”. And he proved that last night against what was formerly known as tOSU. Please let us all remember that Bobby coming to UofL was the reason that Jeff got the opportunity to be the head guy at WKU and I can assure you that if that hadn’t happened Jeff would have been Bobby’s choice as OC here at UofL and WITH the blessings of Tom Jurich.

I would be willing to bet Brohm was a pain in Krags side because he couldn't stand what was going on inside the program and wasn't going to sit in the corner. It was easy to get rid of the squeaky wheel which is what almost any AD and head coach would do if they had an assistant that was being disruptive. That doesn't mean Brohm was wrong, but they definitely weren't aligned in how the program should have been ran.
Got to take Krags side here. He was such a brilliant play caller and of course Jeff's play calling sucks. Almost wrote that with a straight face.
It absolutely is incorrect. kragthorpe threw Brohm under the bus and Jurich allowed it. Big difference.

Thats why Brohm said he'd never work here along as Jurich was at UofL, not Kragdud.
Jurich "allowed" the sacrifice as an appearance of trying to fix the crap.
Jurich allowed Kragthorpe to fire Brohm. He didn’t “force” him. And Brohm remained on staff after BP1.0 left because of Jurich.
In fairness - he felt bad for telling krapthorpe that he had to keep JB. Similar situation to the Grantham one.
