Hope he gets a good look at the Smith twins from Trinity. Coached them in middle school ball. Freak athletes.

Cmon Jeff it's Blackburn. Rocks wearing them out. 41-0 running clock in 3rd. Walker struggling and Wills getting handled by s soph de. Not sure if they are over rated?

This is a epic beat down. You would think 2 D1 players on offense could score. Training just to quick

I, myself have held onto optimism to land WIlls but,
He's not interested in Kentucky. Herron is.

If UK is successful this year in getting to a bowl, and being competitive, then we probably have a chance at Willis. He has NOT made up his mind to go to Alabama, or any where else at this time. If he has, he has not released it. I think most Kentucky players would prefer to stay home, if they thought it would not be detrimental to their chances to get to the next level.

It's not like LHS is playing Glasgow High. That said maybe a beatdown like this ultimately helps UK with Wills.

I wouldn't say he hasn't committed to Alabama. A few people think he silently committed to Alabama before his season started 2 weeks ago.

Watching Daylen Dawkins' CSU team getting smoked by CU. Glad I did not pay for that game. Almost went.

Trinity destroys the 6A runner-up from last year at their place. What a shocker...

St X is still playing without it's #1 QB (suspended first 2 games of the season) and their offense is no where close to where it was last year. At the same time BG is a very good football team that benefits from the attraction of that entire County's high school talent.

There is a huge disparity in the HS classes in Kentucky, and even within some of the classes. Male & Trinity are by far the best in Jefferson Co this year and Trinity will win the State rather easily this year.

It is time to recognize Jedrick Wills probably isn't coming to Kentucky. I wish it was different, but I respect the kid. Looking at his recruitment objectively, nothing at this point indicates he wants to play for Kentucky. It is naive to think Kentucky can get Wills by beating Missouri and Vanderbilt and playing in the Independence Bowl. As I have reported here before, my friend at LHS has said all along that Wills has looked hard at ranked programs that offered him. That's where his interests lie, and the kid has earned that right. But none of that means Kentucky's class won't be another good 1. In football, it is never about 1 player.

Probably just the opposite. Who likes getting beat like this? He's probably thinking he wants to go to Bama so he doesn't have to experience that in college.

Yeah 6A is pretty much unfair. I know Scott County won the state title a few years ago but I'd venture to say that it will be very very hard for anyone other than Trinity, St. X, or Male to win the 6A title ever again.

I was at the game last night on the field (not playing of course). Trinity was just superior in every way. Trinity's coaching was far superior to Lafayette's. They had a great offensive game plan going in that kept Lafayette's defense on their heals and second and third guessing all night. They didn't run a no huddle but it was an uptempo that didn't allow Lafayette's defense to get in position often and feel comfortable. Trinity's defense played great assignment defense. They often made Wills look like a 2 star player. Really frustrated him. Walker Woods was everything for Lafayette both their ground and air game (also special teams-punting). Matt Guilfoil for Lafayette made some good catches but Trinity never allowed Lafayette to get any momentum or in sync. It could have been much worse too!

Yes, Trinity private, Lafayette public.

I have no problem with public/private schools....as long as the publics play the publics and the privates play the privates. In my state the state HS authority has bent over backwards to accommodate private schools. To allow one segment to recruit isn't right.
