Stoops show tonight

I live in Atlanta and I am going to try to call but if I don't get on the show will people that call in the show from this board please ask why Stoops decided not to go for it on the fourth a 2?

I thought at time it would hurt the defensive and offense players mentality both thinking coaches from the offense and the defense don't really trust them.

It was like.. here we go again. Been there done that. It was frustrating... felt like all UK fans knew what was going to happen after kicking field goal.

How much success did we have in the red zone all day? Not like we were getting tds each time. And was still early and in the first half. We sure woulda liked this points against vandy last year when we got stopped twice down there. Have no problem taking points.

A different year and a different focus offensively! I'm still waiting for someone to show / cite me a circumstance this season when Benny Snell has not produced.(gained the necessary ydg. for a 1st down)! You can't cite the previous play when he is tripped by an offensive lineman!!!

Fumbled on the two just Saturday. Did not gain a yard and stoops was criticized for running it during the Georgia game. Two minutes to go in vandy game got stopped and we settled for a fg

I fear the idiot faction/look at me crowd will be out in full force (again) on Stoops' show tonight.

I thought it was a 4th & 12???

I reluctantly agree with the decision to punt it but OTOH McKinniss has a lot to work on. When a long booming punt is needed it's lucky to go more than 35-40 yards, but when a pooch kick is called for he has no problem booming it into the end zone.

McKinnis didn't punt it - Johnson did.

not sure but maybe you two are talking about different games? Johnson's pooch kick went into the end zone but wasn't booming by any means,, in the Ga game McKinnis did boom one into the end zone when a shorter punt near the goal line was called for.

Did same thing against Tennessee the first half.

How did taking the points work out for us? When your Defense is obviously struggling to stop them your going to need as many points as possible.

Funny thing is that UK scored three TDs to Georgia's two, they won the game because they went for the three pointer FOUR times.

Big mistake on their part?
