In addition, Vince Robinson is still alive in the race to become a four timer.

There are 55 freshmen this year that are just five tournaments and one pandemic away from tying Starocci's all-time record.

What did I miss?

Of those freshman, it’s likely two will be next up for the possible 4 timers list (presuming 5’s are off the table, but who knows with the extending eligibility nonsense that is increasing, different topic)

If we ignore data from pre Cold war how does Oklahoma State compare as a historical program? They feel like packers fans talking about having the most technical championships because of the pre Superbowl era.

What team has a streak of entering the Championships the most without a team title?

I would guess West Virginia as they have wrestled since the early championships.

Also who has the streak of the most AA without a champ?

I'm working on a personal streak with my dad that is pretty impressive. He's in is 80s now and for at least the last 10 years he's called me within three minutes of any tournament starting because he can't figure out how to stream it. Two to three days before every tournament I have him check to see if he's subscribed and show him how to use whatever app it is and it still always happens.

To be fair it's a lot better than it used to be when he would wait until five minutes before start time to subscribe. At least now I don't have to walk him through the sign-up/sign-in process and miss the 125-133 matches. Also, if you are dealing with older parents who get confused it's a good idea to never use the word "App" and instead refer to them as either channels or bookmarks, that's saved me a lot of headaches.

Ford Focus could still be a 4x champ if he applies for and receives a medical shirt for his car wreck.

By any sane measure, he should be ineligible for one. But we're talking about the NCAA here.

A four-timer-with-a-third-in-the-middle is different than a four-timer.

Everybody here agrees.

But we are talking about the NCAA, so it's a possibility until it isn't.

Guessing he won't bother trying if he can't be a 4x champ, and so it'll become a non-issue next weekend.

By the rule he does not qualify for a med RS, having wrestled several second semester duals, but eligibility rules have been challenged successfully more and more.
