Gran, Hinshaw, and Scott putting in good work in Florida already. Picking up a ton of recruiting momentum.

I agree about Scott, but this one just has the feel of... "I've coached Duece, Cadillac, Ronnie Brown, Etc., Etc. & I'd like to help you become the next great SEC RB!"

Listen, Everybody was bitching and moaning about the recent turmoil and how the season ended, rightfully so, but we do have to applaud Stoops making the necessary moves to at least attempt to resolve the problems and keep the program moving in the right direction. How that translates on the field is yet to be seen obviously, but when we can experience the issues we did and still catch the eyes of recruits like this, it gives us some hope.

On second thought, Scott can now use that (Duece, Cadillac, etc.) pitch for Gran and he can pitch Hindhaw to the QB recruits. Either way, it's all good.

Totally agree. It might take a year or 2 to really see the results, but UK is definitely bringing in a higher level of talent than I can ever remember. Plus, Gran & Hinshaw are very good talent developers.

Exactly my thoughts. If the recruits still like Stoops and this staff it means they are doing something right. Sure the season ended poorly, but with this recruiting its really hard to not be hopeful.

Read on his rivals profile that Scott is his primary recruiter. Even though, I wouldn't be surprised if he was being talked to with Gran.

You also have to wonder if this is because our O-line will feature two 5*, a few 4*, and highly rated 3* pretty soon.

Glad he's thinking our way, but 13 months is a long way to go with a non-commit.

Like I posted when Gran and Hinshaw were brought on board - this will easily be the best recruiting staff ever at UK. All these guys are monsters. If we put results on the field, this group will turn the corner for this program.

Agree completely. If recruits like this along with our THREE Army AA participants are all-in on Coach Stoops & his new revamped staff, how can we as fans not be?

Or if you are an angry negative poster still so crushed with disappointment and can't be, that is fine. just don't spread the evil & poison that you are filled with beyond yourself any longer, because to do so is pretty pointless.

Reminds me of Marcus Allen in style. Lean but doesn't shy away from contact and has a great feel for how to use contact to his advantage with the hesitation, dead leg, and timing of his pop into a defender to finish the run. And pretty dang fast I might add.

Actually, I thought that I was watching Joe Casey. He's the Paducah RB (who did not qualify) who shared the backfield with Adrian Peterson, on an AA list, over a decade ago, The biggest difference is that Casey might have been an inch or so taller & around 25 lbs heavier. There are some differences, obviously, but IMHO, they are eerily similar overall.

Looks like he has the frame to bulk up into the 220-230 range and become that bruiser type of back that bama has every year.

That is exactly what I was going to post. He reminds me so much of Joe Casey in the way he runs, eludes tackles and with his breakaway speed. Joe Casey would have been an absolute stud RB for us had he been able to qualify back in the day. Adarius Lemons would be mighty welcome in Lexington!

Yeah that was a shame, apparently it wasn't his fault, he had a learning disability due to an accident when he was young. There was a thread on here a few years ago about him coaching a son that some thought would be very good, but that was when he was very young, anyone know what happened to him? I have lost track of the time scale, I don't remember what grade he would be in or he might even already be graduated.

I remember that article. He was coaching a couple of his sons. They are probably right around middle school age, or thereabouts.

I remember him . Wonder whatever happened to him . Might have been this states best RB since Shaun Alexander
