No dog in the fight but will watch anyway. Its already become too political for me, even the commercials which I hate anyway. I heard Diet Coke was doing one with a Uber Driver with blue hair driving and 2 guys in the back seat kissing.
And the amazing thing that puzzles me is that some people only watch it for the commercials. Smdh.

I thought the Super Bowl was last week. So I’ll take the Saints and the points.

Watched my 1st Super Bowl since 1995. My 1st NFL game in 3 years. LA Rams need a QB in the worse way. Goff is not an NFL caliber QB. He cost them the game with his poor play. The guy can't see the open receivers and he's the tallest guy on the field.

Jared Goff just completed his 3rd year in pro ball. It's too early to give up on him. His passing output exceeded Brady's this past season and his rating was higher. Brady is just the greatest NFL QB in history....Goff cannot be compared to him.

I was pretty disappointed in this SB for several reasons.

I like good defenses, but they dominated the game, which many would find boring. The Pats figured out how to move the ball enough against a good Rams D to score enough points to win. Rams could not figure out how to stop the Pats' pass rush and kept the Rams from getting anything going. Plus, the Pats won again, so that sucked.

The Halftime with Maroon 5, Travis Scott and Big Boi was beyond terrible. Probably the worst Halftime show ever. Boring.

Only a handful of commercials were any good. As someone mentioned, the Stella Artois commercial with The Dude and Sarah Jessica Parker, Jason Bateman as the elevator operator, the NFL 100 ad, and the Microsoft ad for the video game boards for kids with disabilities were the best. Most of the rest were forgettable.

Overall, this Super Bowl gets a 3.5 out of 10.

I read that Bud "ponied" up like $350+ mil and spent most of that attacking corn syrup ? Oh, I guess its good that they promote wind energy though...
