Substitution Patterns For Success

So with the recent newds that Jalen Lowe is playing tonight. My guess is he will more than likely start. I believe he did last time instead of coming off the bench? I think because we had one of the worst scoring droughts due to not having a pg, I think Jalen starts tonight.

Here are the starters I expect based off Pope's pattern.

Starters
Lowe
Oweh
Chandler
Williams
Moreno


First Sub
Aberdeen for Lowe to rest


Second Subs
Jasper for Oweh or Chandler
Jelly for Williams.

Moreno HAS to play more. He has to play with Jasper. I have been preaching this. Its clear those two have great chemistry.

Pope needs to utilize Jasper as a 2 and allow him to create so he can get going. Jasper gets mentally in the game when he can score. Sorry I know it seems like he's a ball hog, but I went back and watched. When he scores he's more likely to pass. He just needs to get into it mentally. It can be challenging to overcome.


Third Subs
Garrison for Moreno breather.
Noah for Oweh/Chandler/Jasper depending.

Then Garrison only gets Moreno and/or Jelly breather minutes. If he doesn't perform in 2 minutes in game, pull his azz immediately. Can't afford him to not give effort.

Noah, sadly plays too scared against real competition. He tries, but isn't the caliber player. He's a guy you sub for breather minutes too.


Sub Patterns
Aberdeen subs for Lowe
Jasper Subs for Oweh or Chandler only.
Jelly subs for Kam/Moreno
Garrison subs for Moren/Jelly
Noah is your versatile sub if Chandler/Jasper/Oweh suck or foul trouble.

Pope needs to run these set lineups longer with individual subs just like you proposed. I've not been too sure why he's doing all of these mass subs like a semi-platoon - we know who is the best by now, and so does Pope. Drop the loyalty or ignore the agents and play the best team for UK, not for player egos. If he pisses off a Garrison or another bench player, so be it, they can transfer and we'll call that addition by subtraction.
