Thanks for posting. That was a great season with those simple though good looking uniforms and the power K helmets. Oh well. CWS has certainly changed for the better as has the facilities. Let us hope Mark, his staff and great recruits give us similar highlight reels in the future.

that was a pretty stout backfield wasn't it?

I'd forgotten how much Adams looked the part of an NFL RB

I think Higgs was a FR on that team too

PS: Not to beat the dead horse but those are also our best uni's ever

George Adams. Mark Logan, and Mark Higgs----whoa that's a load of talent.

Yep, NFLers too. Much has been said about the talent level of the current RB crop. Unfortunately they'd never see the field with those 3 around.

Oliver White came up big that season. He went to my high school and won state in the hurdles and did not practice at all, just a natural athlete . I was in 4th grade and tagged along with my older brother who played with them. Also remember going to the track meets and this guy wouldn't even stretch just st p,up to the line and freakin smoke every man on the track.

Unfortunately Adams was pretty much a bust in the NFL. By comparison Higgs had the better career.

yep - I think even Marc Logan's was better --- I think I recall him playing FB for the 49'ers later on and holding down a spot anyway

Wasn't Dermontti Dawson on those teams?
Considered the greatest NFL player at his position after Mike Webster - also with the Steelers

-Adams was still cashing Patriots checks when i was working at a bank part time in 91. Hardly a bust.

Well, he certainly wasn't a flop in the JaMarcus Russell mold, but he didn't exactly have the type of career you would hope of a first round pick. Per NFL.com, he had less than 1000 yds rushing over six seasons.

-6 seasons as a RB in the NFL ain't shabby. However, I do understand what you are saying.
