So, ow that the offseason is officially here, figured we’d get these OT threads rolling. Y fortunately, I know nothing about cars, bbq, or guns, so I’m unable to participate in that one. Figured everyone could get in here.

I’ll actually be going to grad school this upcoming year and it’s staring in summer session 1. Proving this has all gone away by then, I’m really excited for this and can’t wait. You guys?

Started early on Netflix binging. A lot of good video games coming out soon, so I’ll be video gaming a lot this summer like I always do. Hopefully take a beach vacation somewhere with family.

I’m not really sure what my summer plans are. My family has been going to a place here in North Carolina called White Lake on and off since I was 14 years old. We didn’t go there last year and I doubt we go there this year. We’ve also gone to Myrtle Beach the last 2 years but I’m not sure if we’re going to be going back this summer. Most of my summer will probably consist of laying around the house doing much of nothing. I’m hoping to get in some fishing this year once it starts warming up consistently.

Nice! What are you studying?

We are in the process of buying the house we’re living in. It’s older and needs a lot of work, so this summer my goal is to finish rebuilding a 30 year old deck I started last summer, get the pool up and running, paint one of the outbuildings, then lay in a raft in the pool drinking beer for whatever is left of the summer.

Athletic Training. I’m hoping I’ll still have a career after all of this.

Summer is actually my busiest time of year at work, haha, but hopefully going to Peru and Bolivia for 2 weeks in April, renovating my kitchen, and doing anything else I can that's not work related

If covid fears calm down I’ll be back flying around like a mad man for work and hopefully attending AAU tourneys for my daughter (1st ones already cancelled).

I do plan on sanding, priming, and painting POR15 on the whole frame of my 2001 TJ. Messy but necessary.

Guessing sand blasting, priming, painting isn’t an option?

4. Final fantasy 7 remake
5. Avengers game
6. Doom Eternal

Definitely want to try Cyberpunk and RE3, I need to pick up the RE2 remake soon, only recently got into Resident Evil. My most anticipated games are still awhile away, Elden Ring( huge Soulsborne fan) and Diablo 4.

Resident Evil 2 remake was awesome! Definitely pick it up. Yes Elden Ring looks very cool, but I never could get into any of the Diablo Series. Never was into Dark Souls either, but I gotta say Bloodborne( alothough not technically a souls game, but feels very much like it) was pretty cool, but it was very difficult for me, which is one reason I’m not really into any of the souls games or anything. I’m up for a challenge in video gaming, but not like that where I’m pulling my hair out. Lol

Heading to Key West from the 20-28 of this month. Going to Charleston S.C for a long weekend in April. It was to see the Volvo Cars Open but it got canceled :( but we are still going for the food and drink. Myrtle Beach for a week in June. Back to Charleston in July for a few days and maybe Aruba to end the summer. Of course this all depends if our society is still intacto_O

Sprinkle in golf, pool and bbq time in between.

Been looking forward to the Key West trip for months. If restaurants and bars are shut down I'm not going. The food and the booze life is like no other man. I am soooo close...

The usual for me. Beach camping on L.I. April through June, floating and paddling the Ogeechee River in GA July and August, then back to beach camping Sept and Oct. I feel sorry for myself.

Bloodborne is probably my favorite of Soulsborne titles. Yeah it’s not technically a Souls game but it shares so much which then that everyone just lumps them together. Sekiro, the Souls ish title from last year is just stupid hard. Most of the areas you can just run and platform through but the bosses and even mini bosses are freaking nuts. I’m pretty decent at these games and I still haven’t finished it. Don’t know if I ever will honestly lol. I hope with Elden Ring they tone down the difficulty a hair so you can kinda just explore without a constant fear of an *** beating.

I definitely plan on picking up RE2 and RE7 soon though. I’ve been needing a good horror title to play for awhile. I hope the reports are true and Kojima and Norman Reedus are working a new Silent Hills game. PT was freaking unforgettable.

Taking my 4 year old daughter to see the beach for the first time in Florida.
A lot of golf.
A lot of NBA playoffs since it seems like they could possibly run through August.
I take my CFP exam in August so a lot of studying for that too.

Silent Hills games were freaking scary, probably more than some horror movies. Lol. I wasn’t a big fan of death stranding though. Put it with my video game pile and maybe will pick it back up when video gaming gets slow in June and July, when there is not much to play. Oh yea man! Sekiro is insanely hard. I almost wanted to break the game it was so hard. Sekiro went right back in the video game like. Lol. Don’t think I’ll pick it back up to play again.

I Haven’t tried Death Stranding and considering the gameplay, I probably won’t for a while. I think the story might be interesting but for $50-$60 I need a little game in there too. As for Sekiro, well, I accidentally smashed a controller after dying to Orin of the Water like 30 times in a row. I traded it in for Borderlands 3 the other day. Which is freaking awesome, of course. But yeah I definitely hope the Silent Hill rumors are true because those were terrifying.

You guys aren’t speaking my language but my son is a huge gamer. I took him to Gatti Town when he was about 13, and a huge crowd gathered around watching him play guitar hero. He could destroy it. And I remember him going online playing some game gears of war and people were fighting over who got to be in his team. He’s 28 now and still a big gamer, but I’m not sure what games he is into now. He also has some kind of virtual reality headset and played walking dead in it. I put it in once. Took it off quickly.....WOW!!

Went to Key West a few years back, that place is different. I couldn't get over all the roosters and chickens running around. Beautiful place though.
Probably head to the Myrtle beach in July, had a cruise planned for April but probably will cancel. We will also hit Pigeon Forge several times, we enjoy Dollywood.

Dude I didn’t even get past the first boss in Sekiro, no joke lol. I will flip out if the Silent Hill rumors are true. I wish they would do a half-life game for the next gen consoles. Half Life was so much fun. Terrible they haven’t done one yet other than Alyx which is just VR
