sounds like we got jobbed on the call at the plate that gave Alabama the lead. Bummer b/c we led the entire game until late, but at least we won the series.

Agree, did not like Chavez in the 8th, has good stuff but would have preferred Hagenow, but Chavez had not given up a run until yesterday in 7 innings. But overall, we all have to be thrilled with the start to the season. But there is a LOOOONNNNGGGG way yet to go.

Sometimes it isn't your day. I don't know whether Chavez just wilted with the bigness of the moment but I know his pitches were almost all up in the zone. It wasn't surprising that SEC hitting took advantage of the pitches being up. I'll just have to praise Zach Lee for performing well in a big game and Hagenow for again showing his calmness under fire.
