IF Stoops was relieved of his duties after the NMSU game (win or lose) and an up-and-coming coordinator was given the reigns, would you come out and support the team?
Would you be willing to buy tickets to all remaining home games, be in the stands and give the team your full support? Say a Robert Anae from BYU?
Why ask things that are not going to happen. If stoops would be let go, how could you bring in an up-and-coming Cordinator? It's not even a feasible solution. We have 937482 threads about a coaching change. This one might be the least logical. Even below the 30 we should of hired Bobby P. Threads on page one.
Don't you think a Cordinator that is up and coming would be coaching somewhere? Do you think they would just leave right in the middle of the season? Do you think it would have any chance to succeed to bring in someone new who has zero knowledge of personell, staff, schemes and have them try and be successful in the middle of the season. Maybe state for stoops is let go, would you support Eddie Gran. That would be the intern coach.
I'm not happy with the football program. But there is plenty of time for these "so and so would be great" and so and so be the next coach when the time arises. Right now Mark Stoops is the football coach. You don't have to support him, but when 85 percent of the treads talk about coaching change. Makes it kinda pointless for anyone to visit these boards. It's the same ten people commenting on every single one of them.
