Oh the highs and lows of this season. Boy when we suck we sure suck.
Expended a lot of energy last night

What do you want us to do? Most of our team is hurt, Alabama is really good and playing well.
The injuries and fatigue has crushed this team. I feel bad for them.
Someone once said, “fatigue makes cowards of us all.” I think it’s pretty much true.
quitting on defense is unacceptable, but we probably weren’t winning this game fatigued and short handed. most of us figured a double digit loss. pope will get after them regardless. the effort was poor in the second half.
Hard to get excited about defense when every act of defense is called a foul.
I don’t think we quit, we just ran into a great team playing as well as they could. Plus some atrocious calls by the refs. And then they got red hot from 3 the 2nd half.
Injuries will play a factor. You can’t base tonight’s performance, given what this team has earned all season. Besides Bama will get romped by Florida.
Cats have been soft defensively all year even when healthy. Just no resistance.
Kentucky has some good shooters but not great athletes. When the shots aren't falling you get what you're seeing tonight. Also, Kentucky's defense isn't very good either. Pope has got to improve that next year. Another thing it seems like Kentucky doesn't put that much effort into offensive rebounding, players head to the other end when a shot goes up rather than crashing the offensive boards. Rebounding and defense have got to be a focus in the off-season.
Losing by 15 or so was well within the realm of expectation after the first. Pushing that margin to almost 30 sure is disappointing. I would’ve consider losing by 10 or less a win.
Cal won as many sec tourney games as we did. 
I agree with this. And once Alabama put their foot on our throat, this was over.
If you are on the court you give 100%. That is what you do until the buzzer sounds.
Hopefully this will be a night to remember so that hopefully Kentucky never takes a beating line this again.

He was due considering he hadn’t won one since 2019.Cal won as many sec tourney games as we did.
Don’t think it can be forgotten that last nights game didn’t end until after 1 and was a monstrous emotional event. Couple that with two of our steadying forces exiting early(bad foul call on Carr and Oweh getting assaulted) in the first and we were in trouble.
Alabama played bad in the first half imo. That was our chance to show we could hang and we just couldn’t. We were essentially without 4 of our best 5 players during that stretch(Jax, Butler, Oweh, Carr).
I do t think they quit as much as Alabama just went insane in the 2nd half. Yes, they took a few plays off, but at least some of them kept trying. Just out-manned and Bama has dudes.
You will hit a wall playing 2 games in the same day, short-handed, against a totally fresh national title contender who happens to be peaking.
Exactly what I expected at half. I was like play lights out and maybe have a shot, play about the same and lose by 15 so be it. I mean we are out like 35 points of scoring and have no PG. I just hated seeing us lose like that.
I was proud of the effort in the first half and disappointed in the effort in the second half.
I never thought this game was winnable in the first place but wanted to keep it respectable. Didn’t happen.

They were playing hard most the game. Perry, Noah, and Chandler just aren't capable of staying in front of elite talent.
Love em...but they aren't built for this SEC. Pope has to hit the portal hard!
