Im sure there will be a lot of consencus on the “who” with some opinion differences on the ranking. My list would be ND, TX, MI, tOSU, BAMA PITT, OR, USC. Thoughts?
My dad almost the same thing... I'll pay for anywhere you want to go as long as it isn't Pitt.
You can be a non alum and a fan. That is fine but you need some kind of link to the school. Relatives attended or you are from the general vicinity of the school's location or some kind of valid connection. The worst are those who have no connection and became a fan when they were a kid just because they were good.
Syracuse should hate us because JoePa beat them just about every year for 25 years. To me, Syracuse is just harmlessly irrelevant.

As Keith Jackson once said about Michigan . They have the largest alumni with the shortest pockets.
Personally I would place Iowa ahead of USC.....yes the disgraceful booing of their fans for our injured players and the double down of Ferentz, saying he was positive we were faking is pathetic. Personally I would rather have non-Alumni fans cheering for PSU than the current Alumni that spew venom and angst against Penn State. I agree the PSU BOT deserves every criticism thrown their way....but to disparage the entire school due to their rubber stamping and follow the leader lemmings style due to lack of knowledge is repugnant.
