Wanna wish him a quick recovery. Respect the hell outta the dude for his talent, heart, passion for the game, and obvious love for the program. He's the spark plug of the team and I know he will be back better than ever.

Ok. Just read he got hit in the face with a pitch in the ninth inning. That can be devastating. Mark Jurich was hit I believe and he just never got his mojo back.

I actually had a conversation Saturday with Sutton's parents. He was struck in the face by a pitched ball in the 10th inning on Friday. Broken nose, I believe but no concussion, which is really good news. He was back in the dugout on Saturday and Sunday, black eye and face swollen with cotton up his nose. His dad indicated that he could play this week! Tough kid!

Wow. That's great news about playing so soon after the injury.

Herb Score of the Indians was my favorite pitcher when I was young. He got hit in the face by a line drive off Gil McDougald and never was the same afterwards.
