That run is in Usain Bolt/Michael Johnson/Alberto Juantorena territory. Just remarkable. Makes up stagger on the back stretch. How does that ever happen? Said she was only off the flat 400m champion time by 1.5 seconds. Flat 400m WR of 47.6 is 37 years old. I think she next goes & gets that.

I'll be honest. I get the same emotional reaction to her runs as I do with Secretariat at Belmont. This race was Belmont like. Sheer perfection. She has no peers. On top of her talent, she's an amazing human being. The best athlete ever from UK. I dont think that's debatable at this point.

She's years away from her peak. Just think about that.

Being 1,5 second off the Flat 400 is just insane. I know nothing about Track and Field so would it be a tough transition for her to go to the flat 400?

She's much prettier than Secretariat.

She won the 400m ncaa indoor championship while at UK. And she was on the gold medal Olympic 4x400m relay team last year.

Abby was just a last minute replacement on USA 4x 100 relay, ran a good 2nd leg, USA narrow Gold over Jamaicas star studded team!
