Last bitching post for me. Certainly a redundant one as posted same on game thread.
I grew up in Oldham County and am a UK fan for 50 years. To oversimplify, I bleed blue. But the UK Basketball program present state is a disgrace. Putting Gillespie aside, the last seven years has been an embarrassment. Cal’s last five years when coupled with Pope last two have been disgusting. Mitch is the common thread of negligence during this term and beyond. He needs to be fired immediately. Pope is a failure and over his skies and I have seen enough. I like Mark Pope as person, but we are not in the friends business. Kenny Payne was great guy, but like Pope and absolute failure as a head coach at this level (at UL) and got rightfully fired. Whether happens today or at seasons end can be up for debate. But Pope must go. If the world were just, the UK board of trustees would be sued for breaching fiduciary responsibility including that incompetent fool Mitch. But I would not bet on that occurring. What I primarily control now, is my booster donations to the school and program. I will give NOTHING till this **** show is resolved including Mitch, Pope and appropriate UK people. When UK loses me as a fan, you know they have problems. Go CATS
