NU does not have a reliable perimeter game. The offense does not generate "open 3s". Clayton had 2 but NU will not be able to rely on NM and AP against better teams. AP is a good passer and when doubled , it would be nice if there was a reliable 3 point shooter available. The invisibility of KJ is difficult to understand considering his performance last year when he was asked to handle the ball a lot and added perimeter scoring

Unlike teams of recent past, we don't get many steals (5.8 T298th), and we don't make many threes (6.4 T300th). With inside threats of AP and NM, we have to spread the court with shooters and hit open 3's. KJ is one of those guys that can hit the open 3. Makes no sense.

I have no idea what happened to KJ this year, but all the love is based on his performance at the end of last year. He has done nothing this year. When he got his opportunities earlier this year, it looked like he was reluctant to shoot or drive to create. From the outside, it looks like a confidence thing and being nailed to the bench likely doesn’t help that. I keep hoping he has a breakout game and gets it together, but that expectation fades with each passing game.

it’s to the point where he just has to say “**** it”, I’m going to get mine and aggressively attack on offense. There isn’t enough minutes for both KJ and Green. Green hasn’t seen a shot he doesn’t like. KJ needs to get more opportunities because he clearly has upside, but can’t be passive when he does.

I think the issue is KJs defense. It’s looks like JR and Paige are slowly improving on the defensive end. Kj was scrambling a lot and getting exposed by the three ball when he was playing.

Ccc probably feels like he has enough offense. We score at least 80 a game. Last years team scored 72 a game and that was very inconsistent. Ccc needs D this year. Kj=no D
