That was fun, wasn't it!?!
You're probably right - if there was anybody watching who isn't a regular participant on this board.During that postgame interview, CCC dropped the ‘brotherly love’ line without context, and none was offered by the B1G crew as far as I could tell, and I’d imagine the dozens paying attention must have wondered ‘WTF kind of program lets the point guard’s brother in the locker room at the half?’
Are you kidding? Any coach can ream out any player, at any time. That's what coaches do. But my guess is that Battle's words were a little extra salty because it's also his brother. You're probably right - if there was anybody watching who isn't a regular participant on this board.
My take on that was that it was unusual that an assistant coach would take it upon himself to ream out one of the team's best players, as opposed to the head coach doing it, or perhaps Boo's brother was the third man in.
Anyhow it seemed to get everybody ready to play the second half and may have brought the team closer to each other.
That's usually not the dynamic of assistant coaches. At all.Any coach can ream out any player, at any time. That's what coaches do.
It may not usually be the case, but they certainly do it when necessary. It's not like they need permission. That's usually not the dynamic of assistant coaches. At all.
