It's a pretty tough feat to have make the NCAAs and lose 20 games (unless they win the NC) in the same season...

Why did we ever fire him?

....................................JUST KIDDING!!!

Best wishes to BC and HC in the Dance, probably the team with the worst record (14-19, 5-13 Patriot).

Even more impressive (for real) is that in the Patriot, there is no neutral site. Had to win 4 straight road games to do it. WIth a team 10-19 coming into the tournament.

Until last week (which is to say, during the regular season), they were 0-9 on the road in conference.

That's amazing. To lose at every team in the conference on the road during the season ... then beat 4 of them, including the 2 best, on the road in do-or-die games. That's just unfathomable.

That's why KenPom had them 2000 to 1 in the PATRIOT tournament.

I am very happy for BC and wish him well. That was just an amazing four game run, especially given what the Crusaders showed in the regular season. In the Dance they will probably wind up as canon fodder against a 1 seed, but who cares. They're in.

They'll almost certainly be in one of the First Four games against another 16-seed so they'll have a good chance to win a tournament game.

But then they'll get obliterated by a 1.

Congrats to Coach Carmody. I'm happy for him but Lehigh played an absolutely terrible first half and didn't seem to have anyone who could make a 3-pointer against the 1-3-1 and/or 2-3 zone (four different players missed possible game-tying threes at the end and none of the shots came close!). Good strategy to collapse in on their center Tim Kempton and make the other four guys try to beat you.

Lost by 33 at Kansas earlier this year. So they'll lose big, but at least they will be familiar with the level of opposition.
