Is how well the Big Ten is doing - how well Michigan is playing, Purdue into the Sweet Sixteen, Wisconsin upsetting the defending National Champions, "Northwestern taking Gonzaga to the limit."

And that's after a couple of upset losses (seed-wise, anyway).

Well, yeah. We'll see how many, if any, Final Four teams come out of the conference, as there were no elite teams. But this is what we were talking about when we said it was a good conference even without elite teams - just a whole bunch of good ones. It was a grind game after game, with no days off.

Has the conference had better years than this year? Sure. But no Big Ten team reached the tournament this year without being tested over the whole conference season. And so far, facing the elite, we're doing a pretty good job of measuring up.

Yeah, it's actually been a nice comeback for the Big Ten after what looked like a shaky start.

That said, I'm rooting for KU today over the Spartans. Now that my favorite team is out, gotta go back to rooting for my second-favorite team like I have the last 30 years.
