Soon it was commonplace for entire teams to change cities in search of greater profits. The Minneapolis Lakers moved to Los Angeles where there are no lakes. The Oilers moved to Tennessee where there is no oil. The Jazz moved to Salt Lake City where they don't allow music.

There are lakes in LA and there is oil in Tennessee.

The Lakers are a hot mess. Bad ownership and management team. A sliding superstar who they have let control personnel decisions. A circus on and off the court with LBJ, the Balls, Magic, etc.

Who woulda thunk the Clippers would be a better job/team than the Lakers ever? Most likely short-lived, but still. The Lakers are a complete mess.

I still think they'll get it done. I see his point that he doesn't want to just be rented during LeBron's term. However he has all the leverage. He is LeBron's guy and the Lakers sold their soul to get Lebron, including making him basically general manager.
