I am so happy for Taphorn. He actually started his first game as a skinny Freshman and played OK, but fell out of the rotation. When Collins took over I thought he might get Creaned, but he worked hard to get stronger and do what he does well, shoot the 3. This year he has shown he can defend a little and drive the ball some. With the short bench now, he will get minutes, and I expect he will work his butt off.

Happy for Tap too. With our injuries this year, we need him to play more minutes and be productive.

He was the leading scorer tonight. He made a great slam on a tip in that should be a highlight. I have enjoyed watching the progress he has made. He is a valuable player off the bench.

Despite the Norte dame game mistake I think tap is the poster child for this coaching staff. Three years ago I didn't think he was big ten caliber. Between coaching and his work ethic and development this is what showing improvement looks like. Pat on the back to everyone involved.

I totally agree. I think he was on the bubble after the coaching change but stuck it out. He has grown more into a player that can fit into Collin's system and with improved players all over the court will be left open to bury his 3s more often.
