He didn't move an inch while knocking the crap out of Mason at midcourt! That's what all that lifting was for. Tap had a great game! His dagger 3 at the 4:14 mark silenced a rowdy crowd looking for a comeback.

Pick of the Year is right. That's the kind of pick I expect we'll be seeing from Skelly in the coming years. The announcers, I thought, had it right when they called out Mason's teammates for not giving him a heads-up that he was about to run into a wall.

Re: Picture of Tap's pick

I am glad Mason is alright, and hope he doesn't have any concussion like symptoms after that pick (which was 100% legal by the way).

All of that aside, let me just say that the picture above is phenomenal.

Notice how Taphorn is already looking to the side, engaged in the "next moment" and not admiring the "past moment". Speaks volumes.

Best pick since Jan Jagla laid out Evan Seacat? (Poor guy. That concussion really set him back when he looked like he was about to take a big step forward.)

I was thinking the same thing, but couldn't remember the PSU player's name. Pretty much ended Seacat's career. Tough break for him.

Re: Picture of Tap's pick

I never watched the replay, but I remember live it looked like Jagla turned a bit and laid his shoulder/elbow into Seacat. Thankfully here nothing of that sort was involved, hopefully that helped prevent injury.
