congrats to tarboro on the win ... but that pass defense my gawd . swe #11 had a feilddddd day be lucky they only had one good receiver

Yeah they scored a whole 14 points on jump ball passes and Tarboro had 3 Interceptions. The pass defense was really that bad. Give me a break.

Tonight went about how I expected it. Playing our biggest rival who also happens to be a decent football team. Second half came out sluggish after being up 21-0. They seemed to have no answer for us on the outsides. Not sure why we didn’t try and get more stuff going to the outside. Playing calling was very conservative tonight , but it got the job done. I’ll take a 21 pt win over a one loss rival whose only loss was a close one to an undefeated 4a school.

I have a feeling we will see more of that from the West if we make it to the ‘ship. SWE qb put those two passes on the money.

That's something I knew could happen going in. Porter's a decent pass receiver but he always has the height advantage. On both SWE TD's, the Viking defender is in perfect position but Porter just high pointed the ball above him. You can't teach height. Tip your hat to Cobb for putting players in position to make plays. Southwest looks like they have a deep run in them this year.

Thought they had 10 d1 players. LoL NS was won two playoff games in their history, they will choke again this year

MA has thrown for 2800 yards and have 3 speed receivers. RB a beast and QB has broke all time MA school records passing. Hope MA gets shot at Tarboro. Could be interesting.

I wouldn’t say there isn’t any competition, because there is. Saying there’s no competition is just dumb.

If Tarboro wins it’s a good chance they will have to beat the #2,#3 and #4 teams in all of 1a among others. That will be a lot of competition!

I'll be honest and y'all can agree or not. 1AA football in the West hasn't keep up with 1AA football in the East for the last 10 years or so. It's totally different down there than it is in the West. Not trying to stir the pot, but whoever faces Tarboro will lose by as many as Tarboro wants. I called it back in August. This is Tarboro's the next three years. If you haven't seen them play then don't comment that I don't know what I'm talking about. Talent like the early 90's of Maiden, Thomasville, South Iredell, Richmond Sr., Burlington Cummings, etc...... that doesn't come around often. They have it. And they have it three and four deep across the board. West is playing for runner up and a lot of "what ifs."

Because a lot of the 1AA size teams in the west play 1a ball

North Stanly lost their 4 star NC State commit to a torn labrum, they were never going to win against Tarboro but this hurts their chances of it being competitive.

Big mans plan is to ruffle some feathers. Tarboro has been there before. They don’t need any help marketing themselves as champions. They put in the work and the results speak for itself.

North will be lucky to get out of the second round. When the lights are the brightest is when coaching really matters. They ain't hitting on a lot in that category. They have had as much or more talent than any team in the West for 4-5 years. What do they have to show for it? Two playoff wins.

Rounds three (North Stanley #4), Round four (Edenton #3) and State Champion ( Mt. Airy #2). If Tarboro wins it they will be tested. Tarboro is very capable of this! Go Vikings!!

did you go to north and get cut from the football team or something? Apply for a coaching job and get rejected? Never seen someone hate on one team more than you, maybe if you spent more time posting factual information on here people would take you more seriously? So what school do you pull for ???
