I’ve been a proponent of a national Sales tax for yrs. n eliminate most of the IRS. makes everyone pay regardless. End federal taxes as we now see it. No filing etc.
I’m sure the CPA organization, IRS employees, some business owners(cause they don’t want to pay or handle the money). One year Amazon made 12M and paid no federal corporate tax. I guy Amazon a lot and only using them as an example

The IRS would never be eliminated. This would just be another add-on tax. But I agree in principle.

income tax = one of the pillars of the communist manifesto. No greater single threat to freedom than an income tax. IMO

Why does a gov't have any damn right to know what I do (not illegal), or how much money I earn? Just think about that for a second. How can an income tax exist, and in the same breath, you tell me I'm a free man?
