Thank you for not making me the only one overanalyzing the team pic. I had the same thought.
I'm ready for some hoop!! I'm not sure I'm looking forward to the results, but I always enjoy the journey.
If Boo is more like 6’3” or 6’4” that’s exactly what Collins wants in a lead guard. It’s also nice that he could slide over to the off-guard position next year if Ty Berry is good enough to start as a frosh.
Imagine having more than one ballhandler on the court at a time! What a world.
Nice to see that we a full compliment of walk-ons to at least help with practice. I don't ever remember having 4 of them on the team. Now only if we can use all of our scholarships.

Boo looks at least 6'5 in this picture. Jershon was listed as 6'5 during his playing days and they appear of similar height in this picture.

If Collins pull that off, it will be all about how well he can recruit on top of that coup. Can he capitalize on what we assume would be a sure fire NCAA tourney team or do we fall back? This is really his best chance to build Duke II.

EDIT: OK Haywood, allow me to tone it down for a second to simply try to get a realistic idea of your direction.
Let's forget final commitments for a moment. Are you STRONGLY predicting NU will be one of the final three choices for each player - Hopkins, Christie and Baldwin? Or is this more of your hope as Haywood the fan?

I'd agree with this.
Getting Hopkins and Goode feels like the slightly more realistic and likely Plan A. Which would still be the foundation of a fantastic recruiting class.
