Here's a table of the top 7 teams after round 2. The 1st column under each team is championship (CH) wrestlers still in, the 2nd column under each team is consolation (CO) wrestlers still in. Hope this formats OK.

The numbers at the bottom of each CH and CO column is the number that should make it to the next round as winners. The 2nd number under CO is the number that move from CH with a loss. Projections after next round. I didn't count unseeded vs unseeded.

I can't read that from my phone, but yes they can put 5 in the semis. We just have to wait and see.

OSU should be favored in 4 of 5. With the way Heil is wrestling and just took down the #5, don't be suprised if he also makes it. Having all 5 make it to the quarters guarantees 5 All Americans.

Our 3 guys on the consi side have tough draws this morning. This tournament is likely to be won by the team whose wrestlers perform best on the backside of the bracket.

Boyd drawing the 6th seed is tough but nothing seems to faze Boyd. He obviously struggled getting off the bottom but Meeks looked to be tough on top. I think Boyd will come out and win. Not sure he can string enough together to place though. Boyd faces 6th seed, and then either a non seed or 4th seed, and then 7th seed or 2nd seed.

G.W Harding lost to Grey 4-2 at the scuffle but he isn't the same wrestler. But if he wins here he may see Schopp in the next round. Not sure Gary has progressed enough to fight through and place. But wrestling tough in the conso's is the start of preparing for next season. Harding faces non seed, then non seed or 9th seed, and then 12th seed or 13th seed.

Collica is facing the 16th seed but Collica can definitely win this match. If he wins he gets either DeAngelis or Lavalle. Like the other two, I am not sure he can make it to the podium. Three matches against 16th seed, 9th or 10th seed, and either 12th or 4th seed. This will guarantee placement.
