I see where he was fired once again this time from UCF. Made 1.12 million at OU and 400k at UCF and was fired from both. Must be nice.

I read that his deal with UCF was $400k for 2024 and $750k for 2025 guaranteed compensation. I take that to mean he had two year gig.

Ted Roof is immortal and he can only die after being employed by every FBS team. He’s tired of living, so he tanks his team to get fired as quickly as possible to move on to the next team.

Better to be part of the 'ol boy system than competent.
Why didn’t Brent see that coming? Didn’t Brent put Roof’s son on scholarship the first year at OU?

JJF and SL rank right up there with Roof as bad hires and quite a few here said at the time all three were great hires. Meh

Roof was always a stabilizer for first time head coach BV. I don't consider him a mistake, necessarily. Littrell clearly appears to be a mistake but was also dealt a pretty bad hand considering the injuries and the OL play.
