I thought we'd get blown out from the get-go, so this doesn't phase me at all. It's just frustrating to watch the same dumb mistakes over and over year after year.
Do you not realize UT is missing nearly all of their good players. They're kicking our *** with a lot of their backups and their backup's backups. If UT was healthy then I'd agree with you but not now.
Butch Jones has out coached Stoops since but both coaches have started at their respective schools. I guess that's why Barnhart wanted Jones over Stoops.
Correct. We're missing our two 5 star rated DT's and our tackling machine in Jalen Reeves-Maybin.
Kind of sad that App State, Ohio and South Carolina give Tennessee more of a game than that team that's "better" than us (and has half their players on injured reserve)
You Vol fans brag about beating us in football year after year like you won the national title. At least we have basketball. UK basketball is the premier program in the sport while Volunteer football is mediocre at best and hasnt been relevant for over a decade.
You haven't been keeping up lately have you? 9 wins last year with a chance at 10 this year. Two blowout bowl wins. Every program has or will go through a rough stretch. Ours appears to be over. If you think Dobbs is a pain wait until Jarrett Guarantano steps in as our QB. He's redshirting this year.
Who is stacking up against them? If we play them again, we'll have a lot of our players back who were injured the first time around.
Tennessee would be in the playoff mix right now if they hadn't had all of the injuries this year. You can't bash UT. It's no different than our bad basketball stretch. But if you wanna trash UT football then that just makes our yearly *** beatings look that much worse.
Ok so if you get 'bama again they'll just beat you by 4 touchdowns this time instead of 7. You're nowehere close to being on par with Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, etc, and yet you guys act like you still matter. We're competing for Final Fours and national championships in basketball and you guys brag about winning the Taxslayer Bowl in football. That would be like us pumping our chests about making it to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA tournament.
We lost by 39 to Alabama. That isn't 7 TD's.
It was a process when Coach Fulmer took over and brought a crystal football home. He had 9 and 10 win seasons in the beginning. I don't guess you remember how mediocre Dabo Swinney was his first few years at Clemson. These 9 and 10 win seasons Butch is putting together will turn into 11 and 12 soon. What happens to Alabama post Saban? They're going to drop off.
The bottom line is I like the direction we're headed. Our state continues to produce more and more talent. Recruiting will continue going well.

I'm not buying this. They certainly have better players overall, but they're decimated by injuries. Their coaching staff is a total joke. They look terrible against most teams all year, but we make them look like world beaters. our coaches are just worse.

Georgia isn't beating Auburn...they will finish 3-5 in 4th. A third place finish isn't bad considering how horrid our defensive line is and losing our starting QB in our 3rd game.

That's is because people( like yourself) that have IQ's less than residents of the West Virginia people, haven't the ability recognize anything other than their agenda. Sound kinda like Hillary really.

We battled hard against Texas A&M in College Station and put up over 700 yards of offense before losing in OT.
In the end, we may end up with 10 wins playing a schedule where 10 out of 12 of our opponents go to a bowl. Not too shabby.
You also should have lost to Appy State, Georgia. You were lucky to beat Florida and Ohio. you're better than UK, but your coaching staff sucks (as most Vol fans I know agree with me on this). Your team is infinitely beatable (as proven by South Carolina) we just have a coaching deficit that is hard to overcome.
Who's complaining? I'm making fun of how ridiculous Tennessee fans are for pumping your chests year after year over beating Kentucky like you just won the playoff. Football is your flagship athletic program and you're mediocre at best.
We broke it open against Florida in the second half. Not sure how that's luck.
