Read Franklin’s post-game comments. Calling it like it is.

The second half is going to be good. OSU rode their emotions through the first quarter, but it’s kind of worn off.If Tennessee scores now it will be 10-21 and the Vols receive the second half kickoff.
They had a chance to go up 28-0 and now it’s 21-10. Tennessee will come out hard. The second half is going to be good. OSU rode their emotions through the first quarter, but it’s kind of worn off.
I think he works for NBC... so no.Has Blackledge worked any of these games?
I thought he was ABC/ESPNI think he works for NBC... so no.
Not since 2022. He started with NBC with the 2023 season.I thought he was ABC/ESPN
Everyone was so high on their defense and they got dog walked. If Indiana and SMU didn't belong, well Tennessee didn't either.
Could have been so much worse. Make the correct pass interference call in the end zone and it would have been 28-0 midway through the second quarter.Everyone was so high on their defense and they got dog walked.
Allar missing Allen. He already is. Wow, very rarely do you find an easier pass opportunity.
If anything, we’re seeing that conferences are becoming more and more irrelevant. SMU bragged about their speed, but they didn’t look that fast. Tom Allen flat out embarrassed their offense coordinator all game.Could have been so much worse. An argument could be made that both of those warm weather teams didn’t look so fast on a cold winter day in the north. Further, both were playing on the road in hostile environments. Home field advantage matters. If anything, we’re seeing that conferences are becoming more and more irrelevant. SMU bragged about their speed, but they didn’t look that fast. Everyone was bragging on the Tennessee defense, and they were blown out of the stadium.
Talent is talent, but without coaching, who the hell cares.
Exactly... Although it is scary how great/fast OSU looked in the cold. They look like a team locked in.An argument could be made that both of those warm weather teams didn’t look so fast on a cold winter day in the north. Agree. They looked like a team peaking last night from a coaching staff that has been there before.Exactly... Although it is scary how great/fast OSU looked in the cold. They look like a team locked in.
Speed is supposed to travel. An argument could be made that both of those warm weather teams didn’t look so fast on a cold winter day in the north. Further, both were playing on the road in hostile environments. Home field advantage matters.
Yes, it travels from Florida to Louisiana to Arizona to California. Not much beyond that.Speed is supposed to travel.
Ohio State looked pretty damn fast.Yes, it travels from Florida to Louisiana to Arizona to California. Not much beyond that.
Fixed it for you. I live here in Columbus area. A lot of people were saying if Ohio State lost to Tennessee that Days should be fired immediately.Agree. They looked like a team peaking last night from a coaching staff playing for their jobs.
Fans in general are idiots.Fixed it for you. I live here in Columbus area. A lot of people were saying if Ohio State lost to Tennessee that Days should be fired immediately.
They looked great, but they really had no choice but go win last night. There are still a lot of Ohio State fans that want Day gone if they don’t win it all this year.
And they could turn around next game and look like crap. Every game is different.Agree. They looked like a team peaking last night from a coaching staff that has been there before.
I think the extra week off benefitted them. They looked fresh. And they could turn around next game and look like crap. Every game is different.
Only the top 8 belonged. Could have and should have cut it at 8. Would have been perfect this year.If Indiana and SMU didn't belong, well Tennessee didn't either.
Your post is spot on.Only the top 8 belonged. Could have and should have cut it at 8. Would have been perfect this year.
Edit: Actually 3&4 don’t belong either, but at least they are in on predetermined criteria.
